Yellowstone hires thousands of employees every year for its seasonal operations during the summer.  Yellowstone even offers housing and meal plan options for their employees. This means that it is the perfect place for college students to spend their summer. There are also numerous positions to apply for, everything from entry-level cashiers and kitchen crew to more specialized positions in human resources and recreation crew.

 I would recommend applying in December-February for your trip. Earlier is always better as it gives you more time to prepare and accept the offer. 

You'll also have to book a plane ticket or make the drive out west. Yellowstone provides you with your uniform, furniture, and numerous outdoor activities. All you really need to bring are some good hiking shoes, a daypack, granola bars, and a can of bear spray.
